Upon A Pirate's Sea

Upon A Pirate's Sea is a gm-less roleplaying game about a crew of Pirates chasing down a treasure shrouded in mystery and contradicting legends. 

Using a piece of paper and 6-sided dice to mark their journey on a map, players will take turns drawing cards to receive prompts about the fantastical Destinations they'll visit and the relationships they forge while Sailing towards their ultimate goal: The Treasure.

This is a game about exploring an ever-changing world filled with magic and adventure between long bouts of isolation and intimate interactions with your crewmates. You will delve into sunken ruins, confront your friends for lying to you, fight off Naval Bounty Hunters, and drink with your crewmates in both celebration and mourning.

By the end of your journey, you will have a physical relic of the adventure you undertook and the story you and your friends told together: a map to treasure for years to come.

This map-making game is framed as a standalone, storytelling game, but can easily be framed as a side story or a World-building game for another TTRPG campaign if you'd like!
